Cub Packs offer learning programmes where children are encouraged to experience, experiment, and explore.

Challenging hikes, weekend camps, and an introduction to water activities like canoeing or kayaking are just a few of the fun outdoor adventures that Cubs enjoy. Cubs are encouraged to try new and challenging activities.

Challenge and fun are the focus of the Cub programme.

As a Cub you will:

  • Make new friends and have lots of fun!
  • Go on exciting new adventures like camping, bushwalking, kayaking, and rock climbing.
  • Spend time in your community, work in teams with others, and learn about different cultures.
  • Learn new skills and test your creativity.
  • Participate in Events such as Pinewood Derby, Mudslide Day, and JOTI (Jamboree On The Internet).

Cubs Term 1 Week 1 – Cubs Fire‑Up Fun Night

Jump back into Cubs with fast‑paced games, heaps of laughs, and a sweet finish roasting marshmallows together - the perfect way to fire up the new term.

Cubs Term 1 Week 2 – Kayaking

17 February @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Kayaking offers a unique way to explore our local bodies of water. Helmets and life jackets will be provided and must be worn. Closed toe shoes only.

Cubs Term 1 Week 3 – Knots and Lines Skills

A fun, skill‑packed session where Cubs learn essential knots and even craft their own fishing line.

Cubs Term 1 Week 4 – Wharfside Fishing Fun

3 March @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us at the Weiti wharf for a hands‑on Cubs fishing session where they learn the basics, enjoy the waterfront, and try their luck at reeling in a catch.

Our coastal walks give Cubs the opportunity to explore our natural environment of the Hibiscus Coast and learn about its local flora, fauna, and history.

Cubs Term 1 Week 6 – Cart‑Craft Workshop

Get the creativity rolling as Cubs build their own mini timber carts, add their personal flair with decorations, and get them ready for next week’s big race.

Get ready for high‑energy fun as Cubs line up to race the mini carts they built last week.

Cubs Term 1 Week 8 – Beach Bash & BBQ Wrap‑Up
